| Report windowAlso see Editing grids and cells. Page Template tabUse the Page Template tab to layout items on each page of your report. Common uses are titles, page numbers, date printed, copyright information, watermarks, page outlines, and margin decoration.
In this example, the paper size is set to 3 x 2, in order to make it easier to read on this help screen. You can either choose a paper size from the list or specify yours in inches. Click landscape to switch the meaning of height and width, and tell the printer to print sideways. The light grey bars tell you the size of the page. Drag the dark band within the light grey bars to specify the area that will be printed with report contents. Generally you won't want to overlap the items on the page template with the content. To position items on the page template, you can:
Content tabOn the content tab, you will place the lists or other building blocks that you want to print. Don't worry about the page margins here; just stay within the "max content width" indicator. The simplest report contains one list. Create and save the list. Then in the Content tab of the report, right click and choose Insert > Nested building block. In the Nested/Linked Building Block window, Layout item, click on Select Existing, and choose your list. You can place several lists in a row or side by side for more complex reports.
